We offer a full range of “Shattershield” sleeves. Class defined as “Splinterproof possible leakage after breakage”.
The Shattershield provides a slip on protective layer to the fluorescent tube for safety in food production where
maximum protection is not required. Used in offices, warehouse, greenhouses, Kitchens and many other areas where
Shattershield would be desirable.

We offer the following sizes, lengths and colour rendering:-Sizes:- T2=6mm, T5=16mm, T8=26mm, T12=38mm
Lengths:- From 6inches to 8 feet.Operating temperature –40 Deg C to +125 Deg C. European Standard Impact Test to IK6.
Very resistant to ultra – violet. Excellent transparency to light loss less than 6%.Non-halogenic.
Installation
No hassle with unwieldy and fiddly retainer clips, the Roncaps slide on and locks. Shattershield saves
you the inconvenience of buying new lamps and fitting them with added labour expenses. You just take the
Shattershield to site, pop it into your existing lamps no matter what lamp life is left and there you go protected.
The Shattershield doesn’t change the overall thickness of the Lamp very much like some clumsy thick sleeve presently
on the market.
