The main areas of application for the clear safety sleeves are in agriculture, food and drink preparation and manufacture, food and drink display and storage. The sleeves can be used in fridges and chiller cabinets.

Fluorescent tubes are encased in a polycarbonate sleeve with sealed end caps to provide IK7 protection. Shattershield provides an extra level of protection above our IK6 shrink wrapped tubes with the polycarbonate sleeve giving additional impact protection.

If the lamp does become broken all the glass and chemicals are contained within the polycarbonate sleeve providing protection against glass or chemicals being released into food stuffs.
